Jodi Rockwell’s installation “Chill” at Out Of Sight 2017 proved a crowd favorite last month. It’s radiant yet calming Klein-blue cobalt cones comprise a porcelain landscape of cool nested on small-scale dunes of glowing salt. Rockwell’s process is all about defusing rage amid challenging times. “My emotion is filtered through the creative process,” she says, “turning red-hot anger into a mantra of chill.”
