Married with two children, KJ Doughton resides in Tacoma. As an occupational therapist, he has worked with soldiers, seniors and forensic mental health patients. His passions include fishing, film, and face-melting riffs. His work has also appeared in The Rocket, Filmmaker, Guitar World, BAM, Nitrate Online, Film Threat, Kamera and Moviemaker. He is the author of Metallica Unbound (Warner Books,1992).
