André Mora
André likes hexagonsso much that he decided towrite his online bio in centeredparagraph line breaks that may ormay not render quite as he originallyimagined in his head before he startedtyping it all out in the simple text editor thathe uses instead of Word. Now that he’spast the mid-point he’s surprised athow easy this was to create butin reality he can only say thatbecause he rewrote thelast 15 words twice.
While not being meta and trying to justify the four years spent obtaining a BFA in Writing, Literature and Publishing, André is probably memorizing a specimen sheet of some new typeface from some small Dutch foundry. If you plan on having a conversation with him, there is an equal chance that he will reference the Scissor-Tailed Flycatcher or the latest iPad app. If this sounds like a person you’d like to avoid, then at least be assured that before joining City Arts as creative director, André has worked on several magazines and custom publications in Boston and New York, including Nylon and O, The Oprah Magazine. (Yes, he met her.)
You can follow him on Twitter: @andremora, but he doesn’t have a Facebook page.
