Up on Bengal Yucky, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis just put up a post linking to the first song to be taken from their upcoming album.
Entitled “Wings,” previously the song had been titled, “Nikes,” which Macklemore performed on last year’s Song Show VIII. The new version is a bit more dramatic (it has a chorus of children singing) and longer, but it doesn’t detract from the narrative lyrical content about the pervasive danger of consumerism.
