Versus: The Fashion of Conflict Resolution

Presented by The Heroes as part of City Arts Fest 2010, VERSUS was a fashion event showcasing collaboration and resolution of conflicting ideas. Each designer partnered with one or more artists outside of the fashion medium to creatively present their work. Additionally, each designer was asked to take two disparate ideas, themes or moods and resolve them in their work. The result included science and religion literally duking it out on the runway, and couture exploration of the bizarre effects of modernization in carrier pigeons vs text message.

Designers were Angel Gehm, Anna Reinhold, Paige Sandilands, Bri Seeley and Candon Michelle.
