Seattle Festival of Dance Improvisation

Lila Hurwitz, co-artistic director of the nonprofit organization Dance Art Group, discusses the seventeenth year of their Seattle Festival of Dance Improvisation (SFADI), a week-long event that includes workshops and performances. Hurwitz introduces the opening night of Off-the-Cuff dance concerts, the faculty performance segment of the festival, giving us glimpses and highlights of the contemporary dances that come together somewhat spontaneously just for this event.
