Fall Art Walk Awards Finalists

On Thursday, Oct. 10, the City Arts Art Walk Awards are headed to Capitol Hill’s Sole Repair where you’ll be able to vote for one of the following works of art and send a few artists home with some serious mad money. (RSVP here!) We invited three judges to nominate their top works of art from September’s art walks, and these were their picks:

Julie Alpert, Shape-Shifters, mixed media installation for The Neddy, 2013. At Cornish College of Art (nominated by Beth Sellars). 


Gala Bent, Snarling Wind, gouache, watercolor, graphite and ink on paper, 22 x 30 inches, 2013. At G. Gibson Gallery (nominated by Beth Sellars).
