City Arts Events

Events are an essential part of the City Arts universe. We love bringing our content to life and meeting our readers IRL, all while employing artists and celebrating our community.

Future List Party

A huge party honoring the future arts and culture in Seattle, specifically celebrating the artists and innovators on the City Arts Future List editorial feature in the January issue.Check out photos from last year’s Future List Party.

Band Crush

Band Crush is a new concert series from City Arts that celebrates the ties between Northwest musicians. We ask our favorite local music makers to name artists they love and we unite them for a special combined set. Check out photos from the last Band Crush.

Art Walk Awards

In our longest running event series we throw a pop-up gallery show/party featuring the best art from the most recent art walks city-wide. In 2018, we’re considering reducing the number of Art Walk Awards to two larger-impact events. Check out photos from the Fall 2017 Art Walk Awards.

Genre Bender

In its 7th year, Genre Bender will be produced in partnership for the first time in 2018 with Intiman Theatre. Genre Bender pairs up artists working in different mediums and commissions new, multi-disciplinary works. Check out the photos from Genre Bender 2017.
