2018 Art Walk Awards

Art Walk Awards

Spring Art Walk Awards – Thursday, Apr. 5
Fall Art Walk Awards – Thursday, Oct. 11

The next installment of our longest running event will return to the neighborhood where it began way back in 2010, supplying the after-party for the First Thursday festivities on April 5. The awards will take place at AXIS—a bigger space that means more artwork, more artists and more fun. We’ve added a guest judge (there are now four) and increased the total number of artworks on view from nine to 12.

VAST Seattle

Friday, Jul. 27 – Sunday, Aug. 5

The Visual Arts Studio Tour, or VAST Seattle, invites you to journey through the city to visit some of our favorite artists’ studios and talk with them about their current projects. This is a satellite event of the Seattle Art Fair.

Short Shorts

September 15

We invite artists to showcase video works that run less than 5 minutes each at this one-night-only film festival. Come out to vote for your favorites and celebrate the region’s rich filmmaking community.

December, exact dates TBD
Stay warm and get lit! At this event reading-meets-holiday-bazar, we invite writers and comedians to perform their work, sell their stuff, and celebrate the season of coziness with the City Arts community.
