The Art of Being Tacoman: Tacoma Children's Museum

The Tacoma Children's Museum is full of little and big discoveries. Even as a parent, you enter the doors and can spectate in awe and wonder at the things your little one finds splendid and interesting.

Above is a photo I snapped from our most recent visit. In a curtained little dark nook the museum has placed an overhead projector, with a variety of patterned plastic slides, textured fabric (like lace) and things like buttons and the sort. The play helps wee ones to build concepts of color, patterns and is just plain fun as they layer the various pieces together and view their creations magnified on the wall.
