In opera's ultimate love story, Wagner's revolutionary score highlights the all-consuming passion of fervent lovers whose longing for eternal bliss is quenched only in death. This new production of "Tristan and Isolde" marks the first pairing of stage director Peter Kazaras and designer Robert Israel. Under the baton of Seattle Opera's Principal Guest Conductor Asher Fisch, soprano Annalena Persson makes her company debut as Isolde alongside tenor Clifton Forbis as Tristan. Registration is not required. Doors will open 15 minutes before each program.
