Congratulations to Brian Standeford, whose piece was voted winner of the Winter Art Walk Awards (and winner of $1000)! Brian's artwork will appear in the March issue of City Arts.

About the Art Walk Awards
Each year four winners each receive $1,000 and a profile of their artwork in City Arts magazine. Together with the Art Walk Consortium as well as the businesses and galleries that participate in neighborhood art walks can nominate a favorite piece of art for each month. Each spring, summer, winter and fall, we narrow dozens of submissions down to six finalists, and then throw a party in their honor (with delicious and free Blue Moon seasonal beers, music, food and more). Anyone attending the event gets to vote for the winner and we'll hand out the award that night.

The Art Walk Awards aims to help promote vital art communities throughout Seattle. All artworks showcased by City Arts will also promote the gallery or business where the artwork was originally displayed.
