“This moment portrays the Chinese moon goddess Chang’E, who is banished and trapped in the moon. This is a song and performance about exile and longing…inspired by global mythology and archetypes, woven together to create a journey of the soul. From the death of the ego and the shadows of the underworld, to redemption and compassion, we are inspired by ancient stories and wisdom that guide us through cycles of death and rebirth.”

The multimedia interactive show—performed at Duwamish Waterway Park on July 7—combines performance with projected animation, live acoustic and electronic music, shadow dancing and puppetry.
