We came, we vibed, we danced.
What a night! Thanks to everyone who came out and jammed with us at our latest edition of Band Crush, featuring singer-songwriter Will Jordan and violinist-composer Andrew Joslyn. Last Saturday, we packed the Piranha Shop for a one-of-a-kind, open-studio style performance, where the artists traded the stage to play songs off of their own albums, then shared the stage for never-before-heard collaborative performances, including a soulful tribute to Soundgarden and the late Chris Cornell’s "Black Hole Sun."
"It's possible you’ll never see a performance like this between us again," Joslyn said.
Zhanea June and Whitney Lyman also contributed stellar vocals, and the members of the Passenger String Quartet—Taylor Rae Jensen (viola), Alina To (violin) and Aleida Gehrels (cello)—brought beautiful instrumentation. We couldn’t have hosted such an awesome event without our friends at American Music, Artist Home and the Piranha Shop. Thanks for making history with us—and be on the lookout for our next installment of Band Crush this December.
